WHY CHOOSE EPIDERMAL?

WHO IS EPIDERMAL SKINCARE SUITABLE FOR?

Epidermal skincare is designed for both men & women of all ages.  It can be utilised by teenagers right through to mature aged individuals.

We have a range suitable for all skin types; addressing a wide range of skin conditions and concerns.  Such as pigmentation, sensitivity, blemishes & ageing.

WHERE DO I START?

Before commencing any new Epidermal Skincare, we highly recommend you schedule a complimentary consultation with our skincare professional. 

This can be done via email, phone or video chat; whatever your preference! Here we can discuss your skin concerns and goals, review your current skincare regime and recommend appropriate skincare.

A consultation takes approximately 30 minutes to complete and there is absolutely no obligation to purchase skincare at the end of your review!

HOW LONG WILL MY SKINCARE LAST?

As a guide, your skincare should last approximately 3-4 months.  However, this varies between clients and is dependent upon your individual regime and usage per week.  

We advise quarterly reviews of your skincare (when your skincare is getting low), as your skin requirements can change with the Seasons.

Do YOUR PRODUCTS CONTAIN "NASTIES"?

All of our products are carefully formulated using the highest quality ingredients.  

We endeavour to use natural ingredients wherever possible (as long as efficacy is not affected).  Some examples of this are Coconut Oil, Green Tea Extract, Tea Tree, Honey, Jojoba Oil, Almond Oil and Shea Butter.

Our formulations are free from:

Parabens, Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLS), Sulfates, Lanolin, Mineral Oil, Artifical Colours & Scents.

CAN I USE MY EPIDERMAL PRODUCTs EVERYDAY?

All of the items in our "cleanse" and "hydrate & protect" categories of the website can be used everyday.  Other skincare products require preconditioning of your skin to avoid irritation or sensitivity.  

As our products contain Active Antioxidants to nourish, hydrate & repair; we recommend commencing some products gradually and building up to daily as tolerated.

During your skincare consultation, you will be advised on a regime to introduce "actives" gradually to avoid complications.

WHERE ARE EPIDERMAL SKINCARE PRODUCTS MANUFACTURED?

We are 100% locally Tasmanian owned and operated!  All of our skincare products are formulated and manufactured in Australia!

DO YOU TEST ON ANIMALS?

No, we do not believe in animal testing and are 100% cruelty free.

ARE THE PRODUCTS VEGAN FRIENDLY?

Some of our products contain Honey for their anti-bacterial, hydrating and wound healing properties.  Unfortunately this does not make them suitable for use by Vegans.

ARE THEY SAFE TO USE WHEN PREGNANT? 

It is a common concern about the use of Vitamin A and Salicylic Acid whilst pregnant and breastfeeding.  Some of our products do contain these ingredients in gentle forms (Retinaldehyde) and in low concentrations.

Whilst there is no evidence to suggest that using these products topically in low concentrations will cause any harm; we recommend that you contact your physician to discuss any queries or concerns.

IS IT OK THAT MY SKIN "TINGLES" WHEN I USE MY AHA/BHA SERUMS?

Clients often note a "tingling" sensation when first applying their exfoliating serums.  This is especially noticeable for individuals who have never used Alpha and Beta Hydroxy Acid skincare formulations before!  

The serums are acidifying and are designed to lower the skin's pH. The tingling sensation should subside within a few minutes.

If a prolonged sensation or irritation occurs, please discontinue use immediately and seek advice from your medical practitioner.

WHERE CAN I FIND MY TRACKING NUMBER?

Once your order is ready to be shipped, you will receive an email confirming that your order has been sent.  

This email will contain a Link and Tracking Number to follow your order.  If you do not receive this email, please check you Junk or Spam inbox to ensure it hasn't gone to the wrong location!

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY PACKAGE TO ARRIVE?

We understand that you are eager to start using your skincare and therefore all orders are sent Australian Express Post.  

Shipping time is estimated at 1-2 working days depending on your location.  Regional addresses may have a longer delivery time than metro areas.  Please see our Shipping & Returns page for further details. 

WHY DON'T MY PRODUCTS COME IN BOXES?

We pride ourselves on packaging and presentation and want to keep everyday prices as low as possible for you!

We currently only ship to clients living within Australia. Our products are available for purchase through our Online Store only.
